Bench was super sweet today. One month ago 265 was my max. 265 was also a weight that I missed twice in my last meet. I'm thinking my opener for my March meet is going to be between 265 and 280. I was really going for 3 on the 280, but ran out of gas. I like knowing that I could still get it after getting a 3 rep max though.
I got some new grippers in the mail today. These are going to become something I will probably do most days of the week. The Trainer(Tr) requires 100 lbs of pressure to close, the #1 requires 150 lbs of pressure to close, I also got a #2 which requires 200 lbs to close. I will be crushing pool balls in my hands like so many grapes in no time.
Last night I had trouble falling asleep again. I think I have come up with a solution. One part Jameson, one part Tylenol PM. I'm going to try it out, see how it goes.
